How does Big Tex Pro Wash clean windows?
Great question! We use a special system called a Pure Water system that filters out all minerals in the water that can cause water spots to form after it’s dried. The pure water is the best for cleaning because it attracts contaminates on the glass like a magnet and washes them away. The water then will evaporate and leave behind a spotless finish! The best part is we bring this special water with us so we do not need to use your water!
Can Big Tex Pro Wash remove hard water staining from windows?
Yes we do! Hard water, or mineral deposits, are not only unsightly, but can be very harmful for your glass. These deposits will etch your glass over time, so it is important to get them removed as soon as possible. We use a special chemical that will dissolve the minerals but it is safe for your glass. After we remove the hard water, we clean your glass with our special pure water, leaving behind a spot free shine!
Can you remove rust stains from my driveway?
Yes we sure can! Rust can come from a sprinkler system, fertilizer or it can be mistaken as red clay staining. We know the right chemicals to help remove those stains and brighten your driveway and walkways!
Can you clean aggregate?
Aggregate can be a little tricky to clean because it is not a smooth surface, and we always take great care not to etch your concrete but the pros here at Big Tex Pro Wash have the knowledge and the tools to get it cleaned properly. We used a proprietary blend of detergents and brighteners that help kill off mold and algae, remove any rust stains from irrigation or metal furniture, and leave your surfaces sparkling with a clean you will certainly notice.
Are your detergents safe for the environment?
Yes, everything we use is biodegradable and when handled properly will have no environmental impacts. The most important thing to know is that dilution is key. We know exactly how much product we need to use to get the job done right and safely.
Will washing my house hurt my landscaping?
It can be dangerous to landscaping if you use someone not properly trained and experienced in soft washing. Most landscaping is quite hardy and not at all bothered by the process however we do take steps to insure that your landscaping is unharmed. Most importantly, we rinse all landscaping before, during and after the house wash, dilution is key. Some plants are more sensitive, such as Japanese maples and other varieties of tender plants. In those cases, we will cover them with Tyvek which protects the foliage from getting burned by the detergents but allows the plant to breathe and not suffocate the plants. That way the plants are protected and will be just fine after the service is completed.
How do you clean black spots off of limestone?
We use a process called soft washing or house washing. It is a combination of low pressure washing and a proprietary blend of detergents that actually kill off the algae that is feeding on your limestone. The process uses a lower pressure on the power washing nozzle to safely remove and rinse away the discolored areas to restore the natural color of the stone without damaging it. The detergents will also help keep your stone looking vibrant for at least 2-3 years or longer depending on how damp the area stays.
How do I get a quote for house washing?
It’s easy! Give us a call and we will get a little bit of information from you before we head out to do a quick walk around of the outside of your property. You do not have to be there, but we will need access to the complete perimeter of your home or business so that we can accurately assess your needs. We take into account the square footage, the type of material your property is made of, and the type of cleaning and landscaping needs so that we can make sure that we set proper expectations and give 5 star service and results!
I have a shingle roof that’s super dirty. Will washing the roof damage the shingles?
Not at all! With our process, we don’t use high pressure to clean your roof, the detergents do the majority of the work, to kill the algae so we can safely rinse it away. In fact the way we clean is what ARMA recommends!
Can you wash a metal roof that has black areas?
Yes we can! Metal roofs that have turned black is actually a living organism usually feeding on sap from nearby trees. We have a special washing mix that kills off the organic matter and restores your roof to look like new again! If your metal roof has a coating on it, they are known to oxidize in the sunlight, which can make them look dull. Oxidation looks like a powdery substance when wiped with your finger. We have options that can help with that as well, and restore your roof to its original luster and shine!
Do your pressure wash a roof?
Absolutely not! We do use a pressure washer to clean your roof, but the PSI is the key to safely cleaning your roof without voiding your warranty. High pressure should never be used to clean your roof no matter what type it is, because it will cause damage. We use a soft washing system to clean your roof and rinse with our 8 gallon a minute pressure washer to ensure that the detergents are properly diluted so no plants or other property damage will occur.
